I feel like I need to read more poetry 📚 and also listen to more classical music 🎼these days. Would dearly love some recommendations, if anyone has some?

@herself you could listen to the Slowdown, a podcast of daily short poems from the US Poet Laureate!

@herself For poetry, Roger Bonair Agard. For Contemporary Classical/New Music, Paola Prestini is an amazing composer; Amanda Gookin is an awesome cellist; and PUBLIQuartet is a great string quartet.

@herself Roger is also part of M is Black Enough; it’s more on the New Music end of things, but he and the instrumentalists are incredible. (The cellist has played with Yo-Yo Ma, etc).

@herself that reminds me, years ago I wrote haikus “by” one of our cats, Padmé, on Twitter. I should repost those on my own site sometime. Not sure what form would make sense, though. 📚🐈

@jw @dejus @bruce @vasta brilliant, thanks everyone! I’m about to head off as a helper on my daughter’s school field trip, but I’ll have a look this afternoon. Vasta, really looking forward to reading your poetry post!
