As a result of an experience I had this holidday, I have to ask: Have you ever been gagged? What did you sound like?

But so many different kinds of gags. Like a bit gag or ring gag doesn't much block volume, but ring reduces intelligibility much more.
I prefer mouth-filling gags. Standard ball gags are ok, muffle pretty well, no real intelligible sounds. But my favorites are either an inflatable ball gag or a harness gag that clamps my jaw shut around a thick leather pillow. With either of those, it's pretty much inarticulate sounds (grunt, moan, whine, whimper) and those not very loud.

@naga Well, I was just asking in the general sense, like passing fun with duct tape as this instance went, but I’m much more interested in the way people sound than anything else. Everyone just sounds a little different.
@naga It’s just as well. They’re messy and not always effective. I think if I were going to choose something specific like the things you talked about, I’d figure that out based on how the person sounds normally and find something that goes well with that and is safe, of course.i
