My first REAL Multistep Automation Shortcut. Super excited! It takes text from an input field, splits the text by line, loops through every line and adds that line to my Omnifocus Shopping List with the Grocery store tag.
@hexalspace I’m really excited because when it’s grocery time my wife sends me a long list of grocery items via text message so I’ve tried different ways of getting that into my task manager but they all involved a lot of manual effort, until now. 😁 now it’s just copy-run-paste
@Burk Thanks! It’s funny that as a programmer I’ve been unable to figure out uses for Workflow and Shortcuts. It’s something about the simplified nature of the app that throws me off and I have to figure out the “language” of it. But this worked great! Looking forward to setting up more!
