@0xroy I love the idea of the taskpaper format. I don't see a lot of options for iOS though. Maybe I am looking in the wrong places. I tend to like hacing all 'tasks's in one place and I am not sure I can do things like recurring tasks, due dates, ets with taskpaper. I do really like the idea of plain text though!
@Burk Editorial.app is great for Taskpaper on iOS Hasn't been updated for a minute, but is still pretty solid (if you don't mind Dropbox syncing). Due dates and task recurrence can be managed with readily available scripts/workflows.

@0xroy ... the convention itself is portable and easy to work with, which allows you to get on with working on things in a way that makes sense to you, rather than shoehorning your thinking into someone else's ideal. :)
