@martinfeld I have the same tangerine! It’s still in the original box. One of my fav computers of all time! 😀🍊

@Burk It's pretty cool that you still have the packaging! Other than the colour, what did you particularly enjoy about it?

@martinfeld it screamed fun! The handle is awesome! Being able to see the inside hardware gave it a feeling like no other. It made you want to use a computer rather than being forced to in order to complete a task.

@Burk Yeah the translucence factor was very cool! I remember how it influenced many other devices at the time. My old 'ice' Game Boy Color springs to mind…

@martinfeld @Burk Speaking about translucence, I really wanted an eMate but by the time I found out they existed they were no longer being sold. In retrospect, I’d probably have hated the less-than-full-size keyboard. Now, I’m content to “turn my iPad into a computer” 😉

@artkavanagh @burk I think that you made the right decision not to buy one. Natasha picked one up for me online—like the iBook that I wrote about—and whilst eMate is cool as a retrospective design piece, it doesn’t compare to the nice size and practicality of iPad.
