🍿 Starting the Star Wars Marathon with Ash! One movie a month until Star Wars Episode IX this December! Today: Episode I: The Phantom Menace

@jackyalcine There are two specific orders that are best IMO. Episodic Order (I, II, III, Solo, Rogue One, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII) or my favorite, Flashback Order (Rogue One, IV, V, I, II, III, VI, Solo, VII, VIII) in this Order you start in the middle and prequels are treated as flashbacks to fill in backstory. I prefer the Flashback Order but that confused my wife so we’re going through Episodic Order. Also an entire trilogy as Flashback can be a lot for some people. In that case episodes I and/or II can be cut for a pretty good Abridged version.

@Burk It’s pretty fun! I used it back in 2011 and it was enjoyable, of course that was before the modern Star Wars. Where Solo is inserted it a bit vague, but I feel like it’s a nice break between VI and VII since there is a large time jump there, and you of course can’t watch it after VII 😔 I think it might also provide some contrast between old and young solo.
