Looks like you can’t upload HEIC to Flickr in Firefox for Mac 😬
I didn't stop to think about how restricted iPhone photos can be due to this format issue.
Yet another way the camera aspect of the device is not as much of a clear win as it appears to be.
@issimonwoods I don't think you can upload heic to flickr from anywhere, right? Camera settings let you switch from using .heic
@Burk I don't think you can, nope. I haven't tested it from the iOS app but doubt it'll work. Have switched that setting and now looking for a way to switch all of the high-efficiency files to compatible formats, assuming it doesn't happen automatically... I never realised how much lock-in that feature had created.
