@Bruce interesting .. there’s also a glad well podcast where he talked of Texas ... but I believe it is also true of California can introduce more senators into the system than currently ...
@JohnPhilpin The DC plan is different because it does not require a state government to agree. Apparently, Congress can unilaterally create new states from any US land that isn’t within a current state.
So, they could create the state of Obama’s DC home and ObamaHaus could elect two Senators.
