@desparoz I’ve bookmarked this to take a look at. My grandfather was in the the UK Air Force and was based in Malta just before the war.

@BestofTimes I read it on Kindle. Bit of a wandering journey at times, but I really loved the mental imagery of Valletta a surrounds, and the historical peek at wartime Malta.

Such a beautiful country—I look forward to going back someday!

@crossingthethreshold The book provided an interesting perspective of wartime Malta, so you might find it interesting. The RAF certainly played a big role there.
