@MitchWagner I used BeOS for a couple of years and loved it! It was a great lightweight system that could do 85% of what I needed then and an eye opener to Windows alternatives.
@BestofTimes Found it in early 2000s, while looking for an alternative OS which could present media on a native level after so many applications on Windows became a requirement to view the exploding numbers of media types and codecs. Ended up on Mac but wished BeOS lasted.
@MitchWagner I really wanted Be to succeed. I wanted to learn to write apps for the platform. All C++, it was right in my wheel house.
