@numericcitizen I love the peace of mind that they can bring. Same with "Find My" in the MagSafe Wallet or the iPad.
@greghiggins I'd love to get the MagSafe wallet but reviews are unanymous: too easy to loose
@numericcitizen The ones now have "Find my" built in. Which is nice. I've never had an issue with losing it or it coming off the phone at all. Unless I take it off myself.
@greghiggins Do you find it a pain to have to remove the wallet from your phone every time you want to remove a card? I have a Moft MagSafe wallet, but remain unconvinced that it’s worth it. I have an AirTag in my Secrid wallet, too.
@BenSouthwood It's not convenient for sure. But I'm not sure if I'd classify it as a pain. If that makes sense.
@greghiggins I understand. I adore Apple, but some of their design decisions baffle me.
@BenSouthwood Yeah I tend to agree with that. I love how minimal the wallet is....sometimes I'll put it in my pocket not on the phone...just because its so light and doesn't take up that much room. I only need to carry my ID and one card usually. I don't usually have cash on me.
@greghiggins Yes, I’m the same. Driving licence and two cards - rarely cash. The Secrid wallet is lovely, it really is, and I love the Moft MagSafe but am tempted by the Apple MagSafe wallet’s ‘Find My…’ capabilities. I know they’re limited, but still.
@BenSouthwood I haven't used any of the others. I picked up the Apple MagSafe one and haven't tried any others.
@greghiggins I’ve been looking at the Pop Sockets MagSafe wallet too, that’s got decent reviews. I reckon with colder weather on the way I’ll likely just use the Secrid.
@greghiggins It’s not a MagSafe one, but they’re slim wallets and really nice. I have an AirTag in the back of mine (placed in a holder and in a card slot).
@BenSouthwood I did a search online. I've seen those before on some EDC Youtube videos but didn't know that's what they're called.
