New Patchwork demo: simple branching.
Key elements:
• Fast, low-ceremony branch creation, switching, and merging
• Collaborators can ignore branches if they want and edit directly on main
• No need to name branches immediately (or let the AI do it)
• Merging is instant and deletes the branch (no cleanup step)
One of my personal favorites: retroactive branching!
If you realize your edits on main need their own branch, extract your current edit session to a new branch.
Hovering previews a diff of what will be moved.
