The original Twin Peaks was shot on film and The Return was shot digitally - and they look very different in terms of the picture. The original has the obvious film aesthetic which acts like a sort of a safe barrier between you and the action. The new one have no safe barriers.
@alexsavin It seems to me that when I watched the first seasons, I had little understanding of the aesthetics of the film, because I was 6 or 7 years old, and it seems that this barrier worked in the opposite direction and I was very impressed (I think I'm still impressed :) Hmm.. I wonder how the new season would affect me if I were 6 years old.
@ArtemArtemenko I feel like the new season would be very confusing, and some parts of it are proper terrifying compared to mostly harmless original series
