Someone asked about SuperNote OCR. It’s good. It works offline, without the internet. It also keeps your original handwritten version you can always go back to if the OCR is wrong. My handwriting is hit-miss and inconsistent, so it tends to mess up for me.

@Archimage Can the Ratta SuperNote take dictation? (I trolled through their voluminous website and didn’t see a mention of audio transcription. Microsoft Copilot was not useful.)

@the It’s meant as a writing tool, for writers, not a tablet per se. Even though it has some tablet/iPad like things such as Kindle and email.

@Archimage Thanks! (The best app I’ve used is Microsoft OneNote which has a terrific search for audio or handwritten notes on a Windows TabletPC. It feels like the SuperNote is on a trajectory to beat it but not there yet.)
