What game are you playing today? I plan on playing a bit of Metroid Prime later. 🕹️
@Archimage I'm eager to replay this remaster, but I'm soaking my playtime in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
@jasonmcfadden I’m trying to get interested in XBC3, but I never really enjoyed the XBC series. It’s ok, but it’s more of a slog for me. Mostly it’s the control/combat system seems kludgey to me.
@Archimage I think I can see why. It does take getting used to. XBC3 seems most accessible of all. I started with XCX - talk about diving in the deep end. Then I played XC1, now 3. Lots to say about the combat, but this I know: I still prefer classic turn-based JRPG combat, heavy on the magic.
@jasonmcfadden Yeah, I’d prefer a JRPG style, or even an action-based game. This seems somewhere in the middle between action and strategy.
@Archimage Yeah, think it’s meant to be like an MMORPG in some ways. I’ve played hybrid action-RPGs like Ni no Kuni. It can be hectic.
