Big shock today. Our ten years old didn’t get home from school today. I drove around searching for him. Police was involved. He came home two hours late due to a bus mixup. We are glad he’s safe. But man did I NOT need that adrenaline rush.

@AlexKucera oooh that’s terrifying. I’ve had a couple of (much shorter) similar experiences and it is so awful. So glad all is well in the end.

Especially because a girl was literally just kidnapped by a known sex offender on her way from school not two weeks ago a few villages over. So that played in our minds while we were searching for him.
We are very glad that it all went well in the end.
