@frankm I think that the "cancelling" of accounts and applications is a consequence of the horrible events that have occurred. Actions have consequences. I saw a comment by AOC that the government had enough laws and tools to address the threat, but didn't use them to recognize the threat that existed.

Cancel culture is not the way to handle differences in a democracy. It creates victims from people who are not and leads to more polarization. Further we shouldn’t react to a failure to prepare for dangerous behavior planned out in the open by forcing it under ground. The problem was no... frankmcpherson.blog
