I like using Mastodon a *lot* but I really want to start using my lovely Scribbles blog for more short form stuff. It doesn’t share that well to Mastodon though so I’ll look into how I can better use the blog on TheDent.net a bit more. I could just, you know, blog, I know :-p
@AndyNicolaides EchoFeed is a solution for sharing your Scribbles RSS feed to Mastodon or other platforms. I use it for this myself. It does cost $20 a year however. Cc @vincent
@vincent ah so sorry for the late reply Vincent. I’ve been sharing to m.b from Masto but havent actuslly been visiting here so I didn’t see your reply. I think the issue is more with echofeed perhaps, or maybe even Ivory, but when it shares one of my ‘short’ posts there it inserts the text but then also seems to pull / display my blog logo as a massive image, so its not very subtle haha. I think I just need to think how i’d like to post short tweet like stuff moving forward. Filling my blog with short posts may not be ideal.
@vincent hiya Vincent! How are you? I’m very sorry to bother you, but I accidentally archived all of my Scribbles posts (as I misunderstood how the ephemeral posts option works). I’ve put some back to online, but it looks like loads of older posts were deleted entirely. Is there a way to get them restored at all?
