A top down view of the left half of a split keyboard, an Iris, with blue keycaps and acrylic white top case. Beside it sits an orange coffee cup. Both rest on a desk mat of dark blue with abstract lighter blue shapes.

I’ve been using my Iris now for a little over two months and am feeling pretty fluent with it! In the never-ending quest for perfection, I might change up the switches for something just a bit more positive feeling.

@alans What do you think of your split keyboard? I’m looking for something different, and am considering one. Any tips or suggestions?

@Alligator Hi! I really enjoy it. It was a fun little build project, too. I don't have experience with other models or styles, but don't have any complaints about the Keeb.io experience. Their build documentation is really solid. I've been really happy that I was able to train my fingers/brain to the different layout and, mostly, feel speedy with it.

@alans I just ordered an Aurora Sweep, and I’m looking forward to trying it. I am concerned with being able to retrain my muscle memory, but one should always challenge themselves to do something new, right?
