Is anyone using custom email domain that Apple offers for iCloud+ users? Seems like a great way to break some of the Gmail dependency I’ve got.

@iChris Yes, I’ve been using it for a while now with a domain that was on gmail. No glitches. Very happy with the switch.
@iChris I used it for a while, but had emails that were bouncing to the senders. I could never figure it out, so I moved to Fastmail instead.
@iChris yes. I recall it being a trickier setup than I am used to on the Apple front–a little more involved than basic DNS/domain services–but it has worked well for about six months now.
@iChris I switched my domain email from Google Workspace to iCloud with very little issue. I'm no power user but it has been working great for months now.
@rom @crossingthethreshold @frjon @gregmoore Did any of you use Google Drive? I'm not sure how to continue using that with clients if I cut out the Google Suite from my domain? Or maybe I'm overthinking it.
@iChris I think it's an all-or-nothing decision with Google Suite. I don't know of a way to only separate the email from the rest of their app suite.
@iChris Yes! I switched from Google earlier this year. So far so good. I also switched a few emails that I had on Hover as well.
@iChris I ditched Google Drive a long time ago -- only use it for work, since I have no choice, but nothing personal on that Drive as well. iCloud Drive is sufficient for me.
@rom Yeah I'd like to think I could maybe even use it for client work somehow, but I don't think my clients are ready for that part of it yet. :)
