The weekend is off to a lousy start. Once a month I use Mac’s Disk Utility to verify my drives. This morning it reported a boot drive error that is apparently not fixable even in Recovery mode. The internet offers no solution. I suppose I’ll have to re-format and re-install 😖
@ronguest Sorry to hear your drive had issues. However, this may be a blessing in disguise. Better to learn now before any data is lost! Here's hoping your fix goes smoothly too, I know how frustrating this situation can be.
@Alligator Thanks. I have robust backups so I shouldn’t lose anything but it can sure take time getting everything back the way it was. Fortunately I’m scheduled for National Weather Service training by Zoom this morning so I can multi-task the restore.
