The launch of iA Writer 7 was tricky. There were plenty of possible misunderstandings. We needed to make sure that everyone understood what we do and, especially, do not do. How did it go? User feedback was excellent. More about that, later. Here is a selection of reactions across tech blogs.

@philoserf That's why we did it. :-) We figured that if our core audience knows, tech journalists eventually writing loud headlines could be corrected. Still had to go in and write a couple of comments to keep things down to the ground. Part of a limited testing group was that communication couldn't be tested widely either. Very tough double challenge, this time.
