Somebody told me Twitter is considering charging a fee for use and wanted to know if I would pay. I haven’t laughed so hard in months.
@bradenslen Jack Dorsey hates the word "microblogging" and that's all I really need to know with regard to paying for Twitter.
@simonwoods I think, if I was forced to pay for social networks like Twitter et al., I'd rather pay to host my own social network of some sort.
@bradenslen Yep. That's exactly why I'm on Micro.blog; it's a similar effect with greater options to help avoid the necessary pain of hosting your own server.
