New rule for micro.blogging: if I have a thought that I want to put out, I just write it in here and click “Publish” unfiltered. I feel like I have to curate Twitter (in truth I don’t), but I’m taking this at face value. Just a stream of thoughts into the ether.

@paulca Me too, more or less. Maybe I do more self-curating, but basically I see my micro.blog as a diary. Since getting off Facebook, there are a very few things I miss (some contacts with people I only knew on FB) but doing without all the "likes" and emojis is wonderful. Sometimes I do want to share some of my content with others, and haven't really figured out how I'm going to do that. But I'm surprised how rewarding it's been just to have a place to dump my thoughts and impressions.
