@Burk Yes, I checked it out. I was sure there was a typo there for a while. I forgot about MIME, and thought about a mime. I have been trying to get off Gmail for a while, but it’s hard, especially when I sometimes need a Gmail address for Android. Right now I’m using it in Mail.app along with the other accounts.

@Burk I’ve been using the app for a little while now and it’s very nice. I prefer it to gmail in a browser on my Mac. I’m trying to move myself away from all things Google but email is the one thing I haven’t found a decent replacement for and apps like this make it even harder!

@meandering I haven’t used gmail in a very long time. Came down this path due to work account through google workspaces. Personal email I moved to Fastmail quite a while ago. Worth checking out if you are wanting off google 😀👍

@Burk @meandering second vote for Fastmail. I moved from gmail 18 months ago and had no problems. Set up email forwarding while you ween yourself off.

@keithpound @burk Fastmail has been recommended by a few people and I did look into it a few weeks ago. The biggest sticking point in wanting to get away from google is that I have a legacy google apps account so hosting my domain and email is free.
