@kurite oh, how many books are there ? This looks like something I would read. My wife started watching the show and she enjoyed the first episode. Would you is better to experience the books?

@Gaby The trilogy and Six of Crows duology are different enough from the show (but many key themes are in the show) that the books will still be great post TV series. Start with Shadow & Bone series first. I found the beginning of first Six of Crows a tad slow to grab my attention. The show, as with most, gets into its rhythm by the fourth episode.
