Finally getting around to reading “The Age of Reading is Over” in The Atlantic (the hard copy, one of my last since my subscription has lapsed, arrived). It’s some of the saddest stuff I’ve ever read, and I’m not even to the AI section yet!
@joshuapsteele The length is daunting - which, ironically, confirms the thesis that we’re wimps when it comes to sustained reading.
