@Stefanyeah Perhaps more used to it, and I also wonder whether it's that she can't SEE the person operating the bulldozer. For some reason she's always been terrified of strangers, so maybe seeing the men chucking tiles off the roof scared her A LOT, whereas the bulldozer is clearly a machine and not a stranger so it's OK? Cat logic man, who knows – I'm just relieved she's not stressed 😆 @Miraz @patrickT

@jayeless Our new neighbours have heavy machinery making lots of strange and annoying noises today. That led me to wonder how Gidget is doing with the demolition / building next door to you?

@Miraz The site's been quiet for a few days, since they took away the debris in skips but haven't started pouring foundations or anything yet. Gidget was pretty calm and indifferent to all the machinery noise as they were filling the skips, though (thankfully). Her only real fright came when a site manager or whoever came to chat to the worker on site – strangers’ voices being much worse than bulldozers apparently 😂 She's also not too impressed with the magpies frolicking in the air above the now-vacant site, which they do a lot, haha.

@jayeless Sounds like things are mainly OK for now. Hooray! Meanwhile, Sasha who's deaf and can no longer hear thunder, thank goodness, reacts to random cooking noises like the clatter of pans. Win some, lose some… 😆

@Miraz Haha, poor Sasha! I hope she's going OK with the loud noises next to you guys today.
