Next door is about to be demolished for an apartment block, and today tradies were dismantling the roof and noisily chucking the tiles onto the ground below. @jayeless Poor Gidget! I guess this will be prolonged too. Time to visit the vet and get something to help her relax?

@jayeless it's horrible watching the cats go from place to place looking for a safe place away from loud noises. Ours hide under the bed. It happens every year in the run up to Bonfire Night 😾🙀 I hope it doesn't last long.
@vatark It is sad! Usually mine is a hiding-in-cupboards cat, but I guess today she felt like that wasn't safe enough.
@odd Yeah, I'll see what the vet thinks. Demolition and construction are both going to be lengthy processes, so I'm not sure if sedatives are the answer, but perhaps some kind of anti-anxiety med? I don't know too much about it, though, so I'll follow the vet's advice once I see them 😊
