@jayeless Our team, and their flag waving, has been making the rounds on social media 🤣🤣 I’m not following the games, there’s not even a TV where we’re at right now, and also feel sorry for the host country, and how little they have to say about the games. The IOC has too much power now.

@jayeless I like the idea of these Olympics as ‘a distraction’. That’s a nice way to look at it. Mind you, I’m all in on the basketball! Go Boomers!

@maique Being able to get away from it all somewhere without a TV is probably an even better distraction than the Olympics 🤣 And yeah, definitely, I felt bad for how little say Japan and Japanese people seemed to have about it going ahead, too.

@canion That's totally fair! I do kinda want Australia to win things, I just don't like it when people are obnoxious about it 😂 And basketball is a worthy sport. I don't really follow it closely, but every time I do randomly catch some on TV I really enjoy it.

@jayeless at the moment the national league streams free on SBS On Demand and Twitch, with a couple of games a week on SBS Viceland.
