@jarrod You’re better off donating directly. Most of these places (especially large corporate chains) bundle up these round-ups and claim tax exemptions on your donations.

@pratik I know, and I do. But I’m a fan of the local ones and the convenience of round-ups. Even if the business can claim some sort of benefit, I’m happy to see any extra support get spread around.
