Congrats to the Connecticut Sun. They definitely outplayed Washington in Game Two. Mystics look like a different team without their MVP. Game 3 is Sunday. 🏀

@dustdaughter Is your MVP going to return for Game 3? Sure hope so.

@grayareas Me too and me three. I hate to say it but the team gets a little lost without her on some plays. I'm nervous.

@dustdaughter I don't blame you. She's so good.

@dustdaughter What a performance by your Mystics tonight! Stunning display of sharp-shooting from distance! 🏀 🙌🏽 💯

@grayareas Thanks! Worried about EDD’s and Ariel Atkins’ long term health but glad they got the win. Gotta be careful in Game 4 or 5 if necessary.

@dustdaughter Really worried for EDD. Herniated disc sounds pretty terrible for a professional athlete to deal with.

@grayareas Yeah, I’m worried too. Also, I’m not a fan of the way sports fans tend to glorify athletes who play hurt. I want the Mystics to win a championship but I don’t want anyone on the team to feel like they have to sacrifice their health to do it.

@dustdaughter Agreed (says a Brooklyn Nets fan who now has KD on his team). I really get irritated by it, especially with fans and players who question whether someone is “really hurt” or not. 🏀
