So it turns out my TV didn't break after all. There was just a secret power switch on the bottom that I didn't know existed.
@aaronpk I went thru that one day when the remote control for my Samsung TV died and I couldn’t figure out how to turn it on, took me 20 minutes to find the button
@aaronpk is it a Samsung? My son turned off my TV using it's secret hidden button and I was confused for quite some time.
@gilcreque Viewsonic actually! One of the last non-smart TVs, so I'm glad it isn't actually broken!
