The philosophers predate christ by hundreds of years. I would argue that Socrates is a better match for "messiah" but that's a whatever.

So check it. In Corinthians or something Paul goes before the philosophers of Greece and the laugh him out of the place. He curses them and it's right there in the Babble.

He tried to convince them by laying claim to knowing and sharing the UNKNOWABLE god with them...the arrogant prick :p
