@c Seems you've thought a lot about this, and I like that. I think you're over-interpreting me, though. I want people doing precisely what you're doing (tracking reading however they want), but think interface affordances in the UI of an RSS reader would encourage the practice.
@c I'm not saying a star in Evergreen should be an explicit signal, I'm saying the right kind of feed of your starred items could be easily turned into a bot.
