@matpacker Like somebody pointed out on a podcast, one of the strengths of the MCU movies is that they can be different movie genres within the same genre. Sometimes in the same series. "Ant Man" was a heist movie and "Ant Man and The Wasp" was a car chase movie.

@MitchWagner very true, and depending on the mood I'm in, I can watch them and take away something different to the previous watch...and I've seen all of them so many times now, and I still don't get bored of them. That said, Star Wars, the original trilogy, is usually my go to movie routine when I'm having a sick day at home.

@matpacker I have seen most, but not all, the MCU movies. Still have not seen the latest Avengers, or Spider-Man. I fell asleep on a plane twice watching Captain Marvel.

@MitchWagner Captain Marvel is the sort of movie you need to see on a decent sized screen, with the sound up. I'd probably fall asleep watching it that way too. I've seen the entirety of the MCU, in correct timeline order, except for latest Spiderman, which I will go see next week once school holidays are over.

@matpacker Yeah, watching conditions for CM were terrible. I was midway through a 28+-hour trip from southern Africa to home in San Diego. I expect to give it another try at home at some point. The beginning seemed talky to me but I expect I can push through that under better circumstances.

When trying to watch the movie on the plane, I nodded out a few minutes in, and each time I switched off the movie, put on my eyemask ... and was wide awake. I should have just stuck with sleeping; I find it extremely difficult to sleep on planes, even on flights of the duration we just endured.
