I am learning, not for the first time, that the Aeropress is a forgiving way to make coffee, coffee is forgiving of different ways to make it, and you can make yourself insane trying to follow all the various Aeropress recipes you find on the internet.
@MitchW An aeropress has recipes? For making coffee? That sentence is completely unintelligible to me.
@MitchW I’ve been a Clever Coffee Brewer person for some time now. Nice blend of infusion and pourover. No mess at the end either - just grab your filter out of the brewer and dump it into the garbage.
@apoorplayer A friend swears by the Clever. Maybe I’ll give it another try. Assuming I can find mine.
@ffmike When you use the Prismo, do you use it to make espresso or is the Prismo also useful for making straight coffee?
(I know it’s not technically espresso when you make it in an aeropress.)
@MitchW As far as I’m concerned, full aeropress + prismo = 1 cup of coffee. Bear in mind that I got addicted to strong black coffee very young.
@ffmike Basically the same for me. Full Aeropress = 1 cup of coffee. I’ll add a splash of hot water sometimes tho.
