Hi, @mtt! Thank you for the nice work on the Tiny theme and plugins. Regarding the Summary Posts add-in: Would it be possible to configure the add-in so that titled posts are not truncated by default–only truncated when manually adding the relevant code to a post? Thanks!
@MitchW Unless I'm misunderstanding your request, that functionality should be the default for the theme without the Summary Posts add-on.
@Mtt I think I communicated badly. I’d like the default to be for the full text of posts to be on the home page, but to have the option to break posts manually. Is that possible? I tried using <!--more--> but that did not work. Thanks!
@mtt (I did not use lt-etc. I used the actual typographical symbols, which micro.blog is obfuscating.
@MitchW Gotcha. Ok, here is how to do it. You'll need a custom theme with the layouts/index.html file. Within that file, here is the code you'll need in full.
If you are unsure how to do that, I can give you more detailed instructions. It isn't overly complicated. If you'd like more details…let me know if you currently have a custom theme installed. I'll followup if needed!

@Mtt I apologize for being difficult here, but I've switched to the Alpine theme. (Compulsive theme-switcher, me.) Will the instructions you sent work for that theme as well?
And an additional apology for not having implemented your instructions sooner. Life became lifelike and I've had to focus on other things.
@MitchW No worries. But no, it will not work properly for Alpine or any other theme. Every theme will require its own implementation and styling.
@MitchW Update on this—I've decided to just go with your Summary plugin, and not be such a gol-darn perfectionist. And I'm back to using the Tiny theme, because I like it and you've done a great job of it. However, I am a (as I noted previously) a compulsive theme-switcher so I make no guarantees this decision will stick. Thanks!
