By day, I teach high school social studies in beautiful Portland, Oregon. By night (and morning, and afternoon), I read voraciously and observe the rhythms of my own life, always looking for ways to refine and improve. I’m equal parts Buddhist and Deadhead—which means I embrace the weirdness, attempt to stay present with what’s difficult, and get on with the friction of the day. This space exists to share ideas and enthusiasms. If something here resonates or raises questions, I’d love to hear from you: missivesfromsamsara13@gmail.com.
