@gr36 If you don't check the timeline and don't respond to comments to your posts then yes. If there's a way to respond to comments ONLY on your posts without coming to Mb then probably yes.

@gr36 I make an exception for it. It doesn’t have the craziness of social media.

@gr36 Micro.blog is a "bloggers' club"/living-RSS

@gr36 I’m considering the same. I think I might still post here via Drafts, but won’t be scrolling or interacting.

@gr36 I’ve been asking that question as well. I tend to lean towards “no” but that could just be because I like spending time on Micro.blog.

@thatkruegergirl @gr36 I've been thinking about doing this myself, except in my case it would likely be permanent. I'm not sure I can do social media anymore, nor am I sure I even should. The whole thing feels like it's not good for me, and perhaps never was. For me, it's nothing to do with the people I've communicated with—quite the opposite, I've met some genuinely great folks. Rather it has a tangible impact on my feeling overwhelmed, and I already have too much of that in my life.

@pratik @gr36 Just replies without the timline can fairly be disregarded as “social media”. Perhaps with @gluon’s focus mode permanently turned on you’d be getting the experience you want.
