@40Tech good quote and expanded thoughts. I really can’t be bothered with the “real work” discussion but it does seem to me many of the iPad only folk mainly discuss working for themselves (I regularly ask “what about your day job” to bloggers/podcasters and almost none of them use the iPad at their day job. I believe that’s important, not all of them agree. ) The fact that they don’t spend that much time discussing work imposed criteria isn’t that surprising them.
@ChrisJWilson I never thought about that (that many iPad-only users aren’t actually iPad-only). If I had to go iPad-only at work, I might be able to pull off, but not nearly as efficiently for the reasons in my post. And I’d have to give up controlling my desk phone from my Mac.
