I’ve turned off cross-posting to Twitter from my blog. I found it caused me to hit ‘publish’ less often.

@cdevroe if you want best of both worlds: consider doing what I described in my Micro.Camp talk, and create a separate category for posts you wanna boost with a Twitter presence (like my #arts or #tech), and keep rest for M.b only (like my 🔏)
@warner Is there a way to do that to the Timeline as well? I mean not share to the Timeline selectively, only to your blog, based on categories?
@renevanbelzen yes sir! If I don't add one of those 3 Category tags, the post only renders on blog page.
I never do this though, cos I ❤️ the M.b community, and am yet to have a bad interaction
@warner Same for me with Twitter and Facebook, no bad Interactions. The only exception is Reddit, where certain subreddits are atrocious with trolls and lack of moderation. No death threats on Twitter nor Facebook so far.
@renevanbelzen @warner Same here. I’ve never had encountered and bad actors on Twitter or Facebook. Might be the company I keep.
@josephaleo you do indeed keep very limited company on Twitter! I'm working on a whole musical just about the wild things people say there
@renevanbelzen only Reddit I can stomach is specific humane tech tools: e.g. r/ bandcamp, protonmail, privacytoolsIO
