Stupid has no server-side component. It does not store any data on the server. And, it has no tracking or analytics. I have no idea how many people are playing. And I like that.

@cdevroe I like it. One thing I suggest is to jumble the "jumbled" letters 😉 Great sponsor BTW!

@cdevroe Well, I’m off to a flying start on my first attempt 😄:

@lmika Don't take it too hard. There is always tomorrow. Thank you for playing. I appreciate the support.

@cdevroe No problem. It was actually quite fun after I realised how to play. I’ll give it another try tomorrow.

@cdevroe for example: 🟩 Stupid 117 1/0/2. Maybe hash the words and then, as you load the script, scramble on the fly?

@vincent I hope I am understanding... I had an early version of the game that scrambled on the fly, but it leads to everyone having their own scramble. The way I'm doing it now, everyone gets the same scramble. So that the scores are fair for everyone.

Re: hashing... I could do that to obfuscate the word list a bit. But I figure, if someone reads the JavaScript to cheat (which you can do on Wordle as well) then those people just won't have as much fun as those that don't look.

@cdevroe Guess I'm being stupid though... and not actually playing 🙃

@cdevroe nailed it. I just looked at your code as it was interesting 👍 Disclaimer: I never looked at Wordle, or played it...

@vincent Disclaimer: I am not a very good programmer. I just fake it.

;)

Thanks for taking a look. I hope you try Stupid at least once. No cheating. :)
