One more tiny tweak to Gluon today is that if you have supported me in the past, you can disable ads on the timeline for as long as you want. I also give you the 5 day option. I believe the content is still relevant for the "Discover More" section though.

@vincent Since you’re so active with Gluon lately, I wonder if you could add some wish list items? Posts with multiple images, it would be great if selecting an image in the timeline view of the post, would show that image, instead of the first image. Also image related, usually when viewing an image on iOS, a double tap will zoom the image. Would be nice to have that in Gluon as well.
@mcg thanks for this Matthew. The image selection won’t be an issue, in fact that one crept up when I implement the Gluon image proxy a while back (was working before) — will get that fixed. Will also look at the double tap to zoom, but won’t promise I can solve it this week.

@ohBananaJoe I know I know. It’s a tricky balance that I’m trying to find. In a way I want what is best for the community and promote the work from them. I think “ads” is the wrong word at this time, but over time it might become exactly that. However, I think there is a good balance between “in your face” and control. Plus as you supported you can of course get rid of the clutter on the timeline 😛 And I’m not giving any platform vendor any money through in app purchases — they have enough (might change that stance one day haha).
