A post by @patrickrhone earlier on prompted me to create our channel on Signal. Some people would love to be able to DM other users, and this might serve as a directory of users, or any other purpose you see fit. Hope that’s OK, feel free to join.
@maique Thanks so much fo sharing this before. It was my first Signal group. I did leave the group for reasons that I just didn't want more notifications (and some others) - so I hope you don't mind.

@vincent @crossingthethreshold Notifications can be turned off, and you just “visit” when there’s someone you need to talk to privately 😊 You can use it however you feel like it, if you want. Just another tool 😊
@maique Yes, yes... I know. TBH, I was uncomfortbale for just anyone to see my phone number. If I could hide that, then no problem. Whilst I trust more than not, and that my phone is pretty much off, there could be some privacy concerns for myself. Nothing personal of course. I'm sure Signal will allow you to hide that at some stage.
