@leonp there are definitely fields where this should apply! I'd appreciate deprecated info to go away. My work website prompts us to review content annually (I work in local government) - even every other year could be often enough to purge old stuff.

@leonp for personal blogs too it can be good to review older posts to see if we still agree with our past opinions or feel good about how the content reflects on us. Some things I wrote in my twenties just don't ring true in my thirties. I've learned a lot in the past decade!

@tracydurnell Yes, that’s a really good point (although read 30s and 40s for me). There’s a change in tone as well; I was a lot more strident when I started this blog. We should edit ourselves!
