The last time I replaced my Olympus Stylus Epic (in 2012) it cost me $10. Today, they go for $200 on eBay. It saddens me, but I’m not paying that.
@jack Yeah, I've been trying to pick up an old 35mm P&S Contax or Yashica for the past couple of years, but they're both price gougers on eBay these days. Very frustrating.
@grayareas I still haven't replaced my GR1v because I don't want to pay $900 for a fragile 20-year-old point and shoot. And right, good luck finding a Contax for anything reasonable. I'm starting to regret wishing for a resurgence in film shooters :)
@tgray Oh that's a great offer! I'm trying to cut down on old film camera purchases for a while, but I'll be sure to bug you if that changes! I really liked that camera.
@jack If I recall correctly I think it had a slight frame advancement issue. Some frames were a little close. It looks like the last time I used it was in 2009. Never really got on with 35mm lenses.
