An aside on my transition to Fastmail for contacts — I took this as an opportunity to add photos to all my contacts. This is the first time I’ve ever had a photo for *all* of my contacts.
@mdrockwell I love having icons / photos for contacts! It’s a bit of a pain to get them all caught up, but I find it very satisfying 😀
@Burk same. I never had them for all of my contacts before, though. I wish there was a good tool to automate this using public social media profiles or something.
@JohnPhilpin not too many, to be fair. I also paired it down quite a bit. I currently have about 75-100 contacts.
@mdrockwell I love having icons as well, and used an app called Vignette while it was available. It was not perfect, but helped. Sadly it seems to have been taken down a while ago.
@mdrockwell I add them as I go - when someone (person or company) texts or calls, I add a picture. Eventually all of the contacts I interact with are covered. Certainly not 100%, but works for me.
