I got to migrate my Flickr account away from the Yahoo login today. I never used it for anything else so the Yahoo account has been duly, and happily, terminated for the second time.
@stefp Yes me too ! finally … however my Flickr photo set is very out of date since Apple Photos app (macOS) stopped auto uploading ... though talking to Flickr its Apple locking them out for "security” ☹️
@adamprocter It did take a while to appear here. I’ve been backing up to iCloud Photos via Photos and Flickr via the Flickr app with no problems.
@stefp on macOS? And is that a recent thing that is working? As I had a long number of emails back at the start of the year and it was certainly clear from Flickr support that Apple had changed a security feature in a point update that broke sync from Flickr app and Photos app? I’ll certainly reinvestigate tommorow
@adamprocter Sorry. Should have made it clearer I was talking about iOS. I haven’t tried the MacOS uploader for a while.
