@jamesshelley I'm very curious as to what was said. Would you mind if I had the audio transcribed so I and other deaf folks can read it? I would be happy to send the transcript your way to share as well.

@jamesshelley The biggest issue is cost. We've found someone who transcribes our podcasts on rush basis (24 hr turnaround) for $1/min. She charges less for longer turnaround. Another place we've used in the past was Amazon's Mechanical Turk (http://www.mturk.com) which is actually pretty good if you don't need it overnight. You just have to decide whether it is worth your cost to do this. If you have a large audience, you can crowdsource it or ask for sponsorship of it for a good cause. P.S. Transcripts make for great SEO.

@jamesshelley Hmm, you may wanna check out Amazon's Mechanical Turk service to transcribe your audio instead. It's great for no-rush jobs and reasonably accurate given its affordability. Here's a good story about it and amazingly a study was done on the reliability of MTurk's transcripts.

@jamesshelley On a sidenote, I've used MTurk to successfully locate a long obscure book I forgot about in a library, identify a rare photo, etc. It's an amazing service where you can request help on just about anything.

@jamesshelley I have the podcast transcript if you'd like to post it. Sorry it took this long, I put a no-rush order on it since it wasn't time sensitive. If you still want it, let me know how I can get it to you. Thanks!
